Chair Yoga | In-person & virtual option
Want to do yoga but have difficulty getting up and down off the floor? Then this class is for you. This isn’t a frail seniors yoga class – it’s ideal for those who have knee and hip sensitives or want to hangout with a lively bunch of people. We spend half the time seated on a chair with the second half standing using a chair as a prop. No prior yoga experience required. Please bring a yoga mat and dress in comfort (but not too loose) clothing.
Wednesday MORNING: Chair Yoga 10:30-11:30am @ Maple Grove United Church.
Cost: $12/class when you register for the session OR $15 drop-ins (space permitting). Smaller class sizes and we follow covid provincial guidelines. You can also attend this class virtually from the comfort of your own home. Those who attend in person will not appear on screen. Cost: Cost: $8/class when you register for the session OR $12 drop-ins.

Yoga for Seniors
This mat yoga class is ideal for seniors and the mature body in mind. In this class we vary between poses on our backs, seated and standing with focus on flexibility, strength and balance. Modifications will be provided but please refer to chair yoga if you have difficulty sitting on the floor. Takes place at Maple Grove United Church in Oakville. No prior yoga experience required. Please bring a yoga mat and dress in comfort (but not too loose) clothing.

Yoga & Strength
Did you know that I teach for the Town of Oakville? This class is for people who like to flow! We focus on deep stretching, vinyasa flows and using our own body weight to build strength. This class is ideal for those who have prior yoga experience but beginners are always welcomed and modifications are provided.
